Survivor is an extraordinary reality TV show that has been captivating audiences for over 40 seasons, and it shows no signs of slowing down. I have curated an impressive list of seasons that you absolutely must experience. Oh, and fear not, as this list is completely spoiler-free, so you can fully enjoy the excitement and surprises of each season! Here are my takes for the best survivor seasons, ranked.

10. Season 33: Millennials vs. Gen X

Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X has a lot of good going for it: an amazing cast, a heartfelt and satisfying winner, absolutely bonkers moments, and surprise vote-outs. However, a moment that really makes this season stand out has to do with a scene where one contestant comes out to another. It’s a moment that is not only joyous but actually one that plays significantly into the season’s theme.

Resident Evil 4 Remake has been released much to the delight of fans of the series, both longtime and new. Despite the love many have for the original game, it is one of the least connected games to the overall franchise, which the remake has seemingly tried to fix. A big way that Capcom might have done this is by having a possible reference located in the in-game files to the RE7’s Baker family, Jack and/or Joe Baker, to be exact.

Something that the remake has in spades is offering players expanded character arcs and motivations that provide more detail on the people found within the original game. One of these characters is Krauser, Leon’s former mentor, who gets involved with the Los Illuminados cult, with him, in fact, being the person who abducted Ashley for the group’s plans to take over the world.

One of Capcom’s most beloved video game franchises, Resident Evil, has finally received its next installment in the form of the fantastic Resident Evil 4 Remake. However, fans of the series couldn’t help but notice that this same courtesy was sadly not extended to Code: Veronica, the next entry after Resident Evil 3 and a crucial addition to the overall franchise. So, let’s take a look at why this great game deserves to get the same amazing treatment that Resident Evil 2, 3, and 4 got.

Please note that there will be spoilers, but I will let you know when they begin, so if you haven’t played Code: Veronica yet, don’t worry; there will be a warning when the spoilers start. Also, for those who don’t know, because I will mention it a couple of times, the mainline games in the series are viewed as being the numbered entries, the two Revelations games, and Code: Veronica. It’s not a huge deal, but it is worth knowing before diving in.

Midnight Suns is continuing down its vampire-centered DLC story, as the game has now finally included the Living Vampire himself, Morbius. While it has been known for quite a while that he would be coming to Marvel’s Midnight Suns, the game surprise dropped the character, meaning that players can take a spin as Morbius starting now.

The hero comes with the game’s third additional story pack, entitled “The Hunger,” where Morbius gets involved in the plot as Dracula comes front and center. Also making her return to the story is the Red Skull’s daughter, Sin, who along with her HYDRA agents, is working for the lord of the Vampyres. It’s unlikely that the story will be wrapped up here, though, as there is still one more planned DLC pack.

The Last of Us may have one less total episode than another of HBO’s hit series, House of the Dragon, but that hasn’t slowed it down as the apocalypse show has managed to captivate even more viewers than the fantasy spinoff.

HBO is saying that The Last of Us’ current viewer count is averaging around 30 million with the first six episodes, meaning this count does not include the 8.2 million that watched the season finale when it aired. This is a slight increase over the penultimate episode’s amount, which came in at roughly 8.1 million. On the other hand, according to previous viewership counts that HBO released in 2022, House of the Dragon averaged 29 million viewers.

Scream, which started all the way back in 1996, is undoubtedly a horror franchise that has taken the genre by storm, as even though it may parody and be self-referential of these types of movies, it has become a great horror franchise in its own right. While the series may have entries that are better or worse than each other, there are truly no “bad” installments.

So, in honor of the release of Scream VI, let’s take a look at the franchise as a whole and definitively rank all movies in the Scream series.

Ghostface is back once again with Scream VI, this time taking on the mean streets of New York City in what proves to be the most brutal version of the horror icon yet. However, tension and brutality do not necessarily equate to greatness, so let’s take a look at whether or not Ghostface’s sixth outing truly lives up to this fantastic horror franchise.

Scream VI sees the survivors of the 2022 Woodsboro Massacre living in New York City, trying to continue on with their lives. Unfortunately for them, though, a new Ghostface has risen in the Big Apple with a level of brutality and savagery unlike any of the previous killers.

Jon Bernthal is allegedly set to return to the world of the MCU, thanks to Daredevil: Born Again, as the actor has now been seemingly pegged to portray the Punisher once again.

The news of Bernthal’s return is not too surprising, given that there have been a plethora of rumors that both he and Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones will be in the Daredevil revival series at some point. It is definitely exciting though that fans’ dreams of one day seeing these Marvel Television show characters get to join the main MCU is coming true.

Scream VI is set to release in theaters soon, but in the meantime, Paramount has released a brand new promotional website, which allows fans to finally get a call from everyone’s favorite masked killer, Ghostface.

The website, which can be accessed here, only asks for someone’s name and phone number, along with an agreement to Paramount’s privacy policy, and in return, the person will receive their very own call from Ghostface. The phone call is even complete with the person’s name even said out loud by the killer, and comes from a New York caller ID, the same location where Scream VI takes place.

Disney has released the first trailer for their next attraction turned movie, this time with an adaptation of their frightening yet classic ride, The Haunted Mansion.

The new movie sees Rosario Dawson’s Gabbie, a single mother who moves into a cheap mansion, but when she and her son discover the paranormal nature of the house, they seek help dealing with the mansion’s ghostly inhabitants.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has sadly been hit with a blow at the domestic box office after receiving an estimated $32 million, which is roughly a 69% drop.

The news comes via the Hollywood Reporter, and would mean that the Ant-Man and the Wasp sequel has suffered the worst second-weekend decline for any mainstream comic book movie that opened to more than $100 million domestically. While this is an unprecedented number for a second-weekend drop, there are a few reasons why the movie may not have done as well as some other MCU movies.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania may not have been the critically acclaimed movie that many MCU fans were hoping for, but that’s not to say that the film doesn’t have plenty of stuff for viewers to chew on. This has been evident from the get-go as the film officially brings Kang into the MCU, who is set to become the next Thanos-level threat.

So without further ado, let’s get right into the list as these are the ten most pressing questions that we have after watching Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Thanks to a Warner Bros. Discovery earnings report, it has been officially confirmed that there is indeed a twelfth Mortal Kombat game in the works. This news comes a few months after Ed Boon himself teased that the next game coming out of NetherRealm Studios would be either Injustice 3 or Mortal Kombat 12.

The only other piece of information that was revealed by Warner Bros. Discovery is that the next game in the signature fighting game series will release sometime in 2023. Seeing as how NetherRealm has yet to make any official announcement themselves, it is likely that gamers won’t be able to get their hands on the game until very late in the year, although this, of course, remains unconfirmed.

Blumhouse Productions, the company behind numerous modern horror movies, including Paranormal Activity, The Purge, and M3gan, has decided to enter the video game industry, launching a new studio, Blumhouse Games.

It has been announced that the new video game studio will be headed by Zach Wood, who has been involved in the industry for two and a half decades. Whether or not the creator of Blumhouse Productions, Jason Blum, will be involved in any of the game projects themselves remains to be seen, though.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania may have received a plethora of mixed reviews, but that hasn’t prevented the movie from taking a solid haul from the weekend box office.

The third Ant-Man movie is expected to make over $104 million domestically for the three-day weekend and over $118 million domestically for the entire four-day President’s Day weekend. Also worth mentioning is that the global opening weekend for the film is estimated to be $240 million.

After 7 years, the Ant-Man trilogy finally comes to its conclusion in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, with an installment that finally nails what the character should’ve been about all along, as the brand has finally found something that makes it feel exciting yet heartfelt: family. Unfortunately, despite its improvements, the movie has some glaring flaws, which sadly take away from the overall experience.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania focuses on the blended family of the Pym-Van Dyne trio and the Lang duo as they get sucked into the Quantum Realm. Quickly after their arrival, they find a subatomic universe that is struggling against the oppressive force of Kang the Conqueror, with Janet Van Dyne’s buried life in the realm coming to the surface.

The Daredevil series that originally streamed on Netflix is set to finally receive its long-awaited revival in 2024 thanks to Disney+’s Daredevil: Born Again. Thankfully, Matt Murdock has appeared since the cancellation of his show in MCU projects Spider-Man: No Way Home, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and the upcoming Echo series, although he has yet to be a main character since his own MCU project ended back in 2018.

On the bright side, Marvel Studios is making up for lost time, as Daredevil: Born Again will not only feature both the titular character and his nemesis Kingpin but is also set to be a whopping 18 episodes. Given this large episode count, there has got to be a large number of characters who will be appearing in the revival, with hopefully several returning cast members amongst their ranks. So, without further ado, these are 12 characters who should make their return in Daredevil: Born Again.

James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy is coming to its emotional conclusion this May, as a new trailer for Volume 3 has teased.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 takes a look at the titular team after the Holiday Special as they are still reeling from the events of Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame; and more specifically, the death of their timeline’s Gamora. Unfortunately, The High Evolutionary, a man who is heavily involved in Rocket’s backstory, has made his return known, going up against the Guardians.

The Flash has finally received its first official trailer, showcasing the time-bending story that audiences can expect to experience once the movie releases in theaters in June 2023. While fans have already gotten glimpses of Barry, Supergirl, and Michael Keaton’s Batman, this new trailer gives the best look yet at the major characters.

The film seeks to explore a time-traveling Flash, who accidentally creates a paradox by trying to find a world where his deceased mother is alive. The trailer shows one of the realities that Flash goes to is one involving Man of Steel’s General Zod and has Supergirl instead of Superman, along with one focused around the iconic Michael Keaton version of Batman.

Bob Iger, the current CEO of the Walt Disney Company, had an investor call full of news regarding the future of the Mouse House. While a lot of it was negative, like the fact that there will be massive layoffs, Iger tried to smooth over the overall reaction with an announcement that there are some massive sequels incoming, which include Toy Story 5, Frozen 3, and Zootopia 2.

The three movies have had no announcement regarding what fans can expect regarding story, cast, and release dates, so at this point, there is only speculation to be had. However, Disney does have three dates scheduled for their own animated movies, so it is possible that fans will get to see Frozen 3 and Zootopia 2 sometime between 2024 and 2026.
